Refund & Returns Policy

1. Return Window
We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for items that are damaged, defective, or significantly different from their description. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by the original order confirmation.
2. Non-Returnable Items
- Perishable goods (cat food, treats) once opened.
- Personalised or custom-made products.
- Digital products and gift cards.
- Items purchased during final-sale or clearance promotions (marked as non-returnable at time of purchase).
3. How to Initiate a Return
- Email support@catnip.in with your order ID, the item(s) you wish to return, and photos showing the issue.
- We will review your request within 2 business days and provide a return authorisation and shipping instructions.
- Return shipping costs are borne by us for damaged or defective items. For other eligible returns, shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
4. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method:
- Stripe — refunded to your card, typically appearing within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
- Razorpay — refunded to your original payment instrument within 5–7 business days.
We will send you an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please email us at support@catnip.in within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost.
6. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled before they are marked as Processing. Once processing has begun, cancellation may not be possible. Contact support@catnip.in as soon as possible.
