Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using catnip.in or shop.catnip.in (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make purchases. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised access to your account.

4. Shop — Orders and Payments

  • Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
  • An order is confirmed only after successful payment. We reserve the right to cancel orders at our discretion (e.g. stock unavailability, suspected fraud).
  • No cash-on-delivery (COD) is offered. Payment must be completed online via Stripe or Razorpay.
  • Refunds and returns are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy.

5. Platform — User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (cat photos, profiles, etc.). By uploading content, you grant Catnip a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it within the platform. You must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Attempting to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Services.
  • Using automated tools to scrape, crawl, or interact with the Services without permission.
  • Posting false, misleading, or defamatory reviews or content.
  • Reselling products purchased on Catnip Shop without consent.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and code comprising the Services are the property of Catnip or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catnip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
